The working principle of sand filters is straightforward yet highly efficient. During the filtration process, pressurized water flows into the distribution system and is evenly distributed across the filter media layer. The backwashing water source can be selected from the system, water tower, or external source water, and the backwashing process is highly efficient with a short backwashing time. The shell is made of carbon steel with a phosphate surface treatment, and the pipeline material is made of carbon steel sprayed with resin or PVC. The valve is made of cast steel or PVC plastic, and the pipe interface adopts a standard DN interface. The filter should be checked and cleaned regularly to ensure that it can operate normally, and attention should also be paid to the working pressure and water quality.

Firstly, when selecting a manual backwashing sand and gravel filter, it is recommended to use more than two tanks.

Fourthly, the filter should be backwashed when the import and export pressure drop is higher than 0.05-0.07MPa.
