As we all know, the cyclone desander is made based on the screening principle of solid particles in the fluid rotating in the desander. It integrates cyclone and filtration to achieve sand removal, turbidity reduction, and solid-liquid separation in the field of water treatment. and other effects. It is widely used in water source heat pumps, water treatment, food and other industrial fields. Sand removal from river water and well water, coal washing water, industrial mineral processing, liquid degassing and separation of immiscible liquids. 

 

Its working principle is to use the principle of centrifugal separation to remove sand. Since the water inlet pipe is installed at the eccentric position of the cylinder, when the water passes through the water inlet pipe of the cyclone desander, it begins to form an oblique downward direction along the tangential direction around the cylinder. The surrounding fluid and water flow rotate and move downward. When the water reaches a certain part of the cone, it rotates upward along the axis of the cylinder, and then is discharged through the outlet pipe. Under the action of the centrifugal force of fluid inertia and its own gravity, the impurities move along the cone. The wall falls into the conical slag hopper at the bottom of the equipment. The lower part of the cone is equipped with components to prevent debris from rising upward. The reason why the cyclone desander should be installed in front of the towerless water supply equipment is because the underground well water pumped up through the water pump contains a lot of sediment. If the pumped water directly enters the towerless water supply tank, there will be a lot of mud in it. There will be a lot of sand in the tank over time, which will affect the water supply effect. Therefore, we need to add a cyclone desander at the front end of the towerless water supply equipment to intercept the sediment in the water and then enter the towerless water supply equipment.

 

 

Notes on installation of cyclone desander:

 

1. The desander should be installed on the main pipe of the water supply network and fixed on the base. A bypass should be added between the inlet and outlet pipes.

 

2. In order to ensure that the inlet water flow is stable, a straight pipe with the same diameter as the water inlet should be installed in front of the equipment's water inlet. The length is equivalent to 10-15 times the diameter of the water inlet.

 

3. Sufficient maintenance space should be reserved around the equipment during installation.

 

4. During normal operation, the inlet and outlet valves need to be opened, and the drain valve and bypass valve need to be closed.

 

5. Regularly discharge sand and decontaminate the source water according to the sand content of the source water. Open the discharge valve when discharging sewage. The discharge process will not affect the normal water use of the system.

 

6. After the sewage discharge is completed, close the sewage valve.

 

7. If the sand discharge pressure is insufficient, close the valve at the water outlet.

 

8. This equipment does not have the function of filtering impurities. If there is a requirement to filter impurities, a filter must be installed.
