What are the precautions for using a fully automatic water softener?

The fully automatic water softener consists of a soft water controller (automatic type), resin tank, strong acid sodium ion resin tank, and salt tank. It is a water treatment equipment that reduces the hardness of water and softens water.

In the operation and use of the automatic water softener, some precautions should be followed.

1. In order to increase the salt absorption rate, place the salt tank close to the resin tank, and shorten the length of the salt suction plastic pipe as much as possible.

2. In the initial use stage, it is necessary to strengthen water quality testing, adjust the restoration procedure according to water quality changes, and keep it in good working condition.

3. The raw water quality conditions should meet the basic requirements. For the water quality with a large amount of sediment, sedimentation should be carried out before entering the machine. Keep the equipment clean daily, and be careful not to touch the pulley during operation to reduce accidents.

4. During the use of the automatic water softener, it is necessary to open the water inlet for a long time, and close it when the equipment is overhauled; if no water is needed, the water outlet valve can be closed.

5. There must be a regenerant in the salt box to make the amount of salt used for regeneration in the next reduction cycle.

6. If the effluent is unqualified due to incomplete regeneration, it can be manually regenerated.

7. If the industrial salt used is too dirty, in order to confirm the smooth progress of the salt absorption process, the salt bucket should be cleaned once a year.

8. When the automatic water softener is out of use for a long time, it needs to suck the salt water into the tank for protection.

9. When it is put into use again, it is necessary to prepare salt water, first open the water inlet valve, and then connect the power supply, let the device reset itself and then manually regenerate once, and then open the water outlet valve after regeneration.

10. Every other year, the equipment should be overhauled. The upper and lower bottom plates of the salt tank should be painted for protection. 

Open the upper flange of the exchange column to check the height of the resin layer. 

The resin filling rate of this equipment is 85%-90%. If the result is better, it should be added when it is not enough, and the others should be repaired according to the situation.
